Page moving could be the tip of the iceberg and other possible bad are going on. Other good anti malware are Emmisoft Anti Malware and Malware Bytes. There is also Hitman Pro alert so get both. If Hitman Pro won't find nothing else will. Guaranteed nothing will find anything more than Hitman Pro. Just use unregistered trial and run scan to find. Due to its sophistication it will find malware no other anti malware will find and remove it. It can be used as your only virus scanner with a manual scheduled scan once a day so you don't need a virus killer running so faster PC. It detects unknown infections due to behaviour analysis. Hitman pro is superior and something else. Shouldn't that catch any malware that might come through? I'm presently using Webroot as my PC protection. I then went to "File Explorer This PC Local Disk C Program Files Internet Explorer found iexplore.exe right click, create shortcut" and placed the IE shortcut on my desktop so that I can skip Edge and go directly to IE There may be an easier way to do it but I accessed the internet through Edge then went to my preferred home page, then Tools (Gear symbol upper right), internet options and set it as my home page. I use Ixquick because it does not do any tracking of activity or collect any personal info for M.S.
On Windows 10 is there a way to access the internet without going through Edge? I'm still very new to Windows 10. It is here that I run into this page jumping problem. In order to go on line I click on Edge and then do a search for in order to avoid the Edge snooping and then search through Ixquick to go read my emails and online news and participate in blog conversations. I don't think it necessarily has anything to do with a particular advertisement. I had thought the issue was either the ad block I use or the continuous loop of installation failures of update. But for me, it has nothing to do with ads the page just jumps around.
