The HDMI cable solution also worked if i used it combined with VGA port to another monitor, so i shared same screen on 2 monitors, but the colors were still off on the HDTV screen which is odd cause i tested this same HDTV with a Playstation 3 console and the HDMI output worked there finely! If i go into safe mode the screen is normal, if i use the VGA cable its all normal, however if i use the HDMI cable its blank screen. i was thinking maybe it changed the HZ to 70 or 75, which i know my TV cant handle, but there is simply no way to change it back. Heres when the problems started, the screen went blank, and i was waiting for it to come back after 15 seconds but it never did. So i went into changing resolution, it was in 1024x768 60 HZ originally cause thats how i like it best, but like i said the screen was off this time so i applied 1024x768 setting again. Yesterday i switched on my PC and i noticed the desktop was off, the edges of the screen were stretched out just enough to be annoying, and the colors were also off a bit. I was not watching TV on it or anything else, i was just using it for the PC. Ive been playing on PC for years, while i was using a HDTV as monitor via a HDMI cable.
